Foulkes to bowl his fourth over. A single each to Gill and Rohit before the former slashes the pacer over point for a four.

The last ball is down the leg side as Gill helps it round the corner, swatting it over fine leg for a six.

India scored 10 from the first five overs before changing gears to hit 33 from the next three overs, to reach 43 for no loss in eight overs.

New Zealand make a change as pacer Kristian Clarke replaces Jamieson, who bowled a tight spell of four overs for 17 runs, including two maiden overs.

Clarke starts with a wide down the leg side to Rohit, who then takes a single.

Gill looking in great touch as he clips the pacer through square leg for a four and two balls later he cuts a short wide ball for another boundary.

Clarke oversteps to concede a no-ball but Rohit can't make most of the free hit as he swings hard but fails to connect.

Debutant spinner Jayden Lennox comes into the attack. Gill taps the first ball to midwicket for a single before Rohit misses the sweep but the ball is down the leg side and is ruled a wide.

Lennox ends the over with three dots in a row to Rohit, as the debutant makes a good start in his first over.

They scored just 10 from the first five overs with just one four, before turning things around with 47 from the next five overs, which included seven fours and a six.
