NZ 112-2 (24 ovs) vs India 284-7 | SCORECARD

Mitchell and Young easily pick Jadeja for five singles in his fourth over to take New Zealand past the 100-run mark, in the 22nd over.

Mitchell reading Kuldeep quite well. He plays a cracking reverse sweep off the Indian spinner behind point for a four to get eight runs from the 23rd over.

Kuldeep won't enjoy this, he has gone for 22 runs in his first two overs.

New Zealand's run rate has jumped quite a bit after they scored 27 from the last three overs.

In the next over, Mitchell drives Jadeja to long-on for one before Young punches the third ball into the covers where Kohli makes a diving stop to save some runs.

Young has a big swing but manages just one off the inside half and Mitchell takes another run off the next.

Rohit comes up with a fine diving stop at point off the last ball as the two veterans lead the way on the field.
