Afghanistan 49-2 (6 ovs) vs Canada | Scorecard

Skipper Dilpreet Bajwa comes into the attack and starts off with three dot balls before Ibrahim Zadran edges one to short fine leg for a single.

A dot and a single through square leg to end the  over. Just two runs came off it.

Jaskaran Singh comes into the attack and Gurbaz attempts to cut a length ball outside off but edges it through third man for a boundary.

Four more! Gurbaz charges down and lofts one over the in-field for the second consecutive boundary.

Out! Gurbaz departs, caught by Yuvraj Samra. Once again, Gurbaz steps down and attempts to pull but ends up top-edging it to the fielder at deep backward point.

He goes after a 20-ball 30 with five hits to the fence.

Gulbadin Naib is the new man in. He gets off the mark straightaway with a push to long-on for a single.

Zadran then cuts one away to point and gets a quick single.

Naib is hit on the pads and Canada review the on-field decision of not out.

Out! A nip-backer and Naib is caught plumb. Afghanistan lose their second wicket.

10 runs came off the over. Afghanistan are 49/2 after the Powerplay.
