Welcome to the coverage of Match No. 23 of the T20 World Cup between England and Scotland at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

England have won the toss and they have decided to bowl first.

Let's have a look at the Playing XIs:

Scotland: George Munsey, Michael Jones, Brandon McMullen, Richie Berrington (Captain), Tom Bruce, Michael Leask, Matthew Cross (Wicketkeeper), Mark Watt, Oliver Davidson, Brad Currie, Brad Wheal

England: Philip Salt, Jos Buttler (Wicketkeeper), Jacob Bethell, Tom Banton, Harry Brook (Captain), Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, Jamie Overton, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid

Both teams head into this crucial match to keep their Super Eight hopes from Group C alive.

England began their campaign with a four-run win over Nepal but then lost to West Indies by 30 runs.

They are level on points with Scotland and Italy but are behind them on net run-rate.

West Indies sit atop the table with two wins from two matches.

Scotland, on the other hand, bounced back from their opening match loss to West Indies in style, posting 207 for 4 and then bowling Italy out for 134 for a 73-run win at the Eden Gardens.

Scotland had only entered the tournament two weeks back following Bangladesh's ouster after they refused to play in India, and had minimal preparation after winter back home.

They looked rusty in the opener but were far sharper against Italy.

Kaleem makes the breakthrough with the wicket of Campher, who goes right back in his crease but misses the arm ball which skids straight on and hits him plumb in front.

Campher, who made 12, takes the review but immediately walks off after seeing the first replay on the big screen.

Kaleem strikes two balls later as Loran Tucker is stumped by wicketkeeper Shukla for 18 of a ball going down the leg side. However, he is saved by the third umpire.

Wicketkeeper Shukla made a mess of it. He failed to pouch the ball cleanly before he took off the bails. The TV umpire rules that the ball is not in his right hand which struck the stumps first even though the left hand was touch the left.

Pace great Waqar Younis rules that the third umpire might have got it wrong as the left hand was touching the right when the bails were taken off, which makes the stumping valid.

Shakeel strikes another blow in his next over with the wicket of Adair, who is given out LBW. He immediately takes the review as there is clearly an inside edge before the ball hits the pads and the decision is overturned.

However, Shakeel gets his man next ball. Adair looks to loft the spinner down the ground but skies it high and Aamir Kaleem takes a good catch on the leg side.

The bowler was also running back but pulled out at the last second as Kaleem running to his right at mid-off takes a well judged catch.

Nearly another wicket as Lorcan Tucker goes after a flighted delivery and gets the edge but wicketkeeper Vinayak Shukla fails to take the catch as the ball strikes his gloves and goes fine for a four.
