Nepal 42-2 (6 Ovs) vs England 184-7 | SCORECARD

Rohit Paudel, the captain, walks in after the breakthrough and begins watchfully, defending his first ball.

Jofra Archer switches ends. He starts cleverly with a slower ball on off stump, and Bhurtel can only defend. The pace is taken off again, forcing a mistimed push for just a single. Paudel remains cautious, blocking a couple before Archer slips one down the leg side for a wide. A quiet finish to the over with another single. A strong comeback from Archer after being taken on earlier. Just three runs from it. Nepal 40/1 after five overs -- 145 needed from 90 balls.

Will Jacks comes on with spin. He begins with a wide before Paudel nudges a single. Then comes the big moment. WICKET! Caught and bowled! Bhurtel looks to hit through the line but doesn't get the elevation. The ball pops straight back, and Jacks reacts quickly to complete a sharp return catch. A fine all-round impact from Jacks -- runs with the bat and now a crucial wicket with the ball.

Bhurtel departs for a brisk 29 off 17 balls. Nepal lose their second, and spin strikes again.

Dipendra Singh Airee walks in next.

He gets going quickly, picking up a couple of runs to open his account. With the field still up, both batters focus on rotating the strike, nudging singles and keeping the scoreboard ticking without taking risks.

It’s a steady rebuild after the wicket.

Seven runs and a breakthrough come from the over. At the end of the powerplay, Nepal are 47/2, needing 138 more from 84 balls.
