England 350-6 (80 ovs) vs India 471 | Scorecard

Jadeja into the attack from the other end. Brook gives India a taste of the tumbling paddle shot made famous by Pant as he hits Jadeja fine on the leg side for a four.

The next ball slides in with the arm as Brook is struck on the pads but the loud shout for LBW is turned down.

He slaps the third ball square past point for a couple of runs and gets the last ball in the covers for two more runs.

Prasidh continues to bowl short as Smith plays a powerful shot over square leg for a six.

He again tries the pull shot next ball but is beaten as India take the review for caught behind but there is no edge as they lose the review.

But Prasidh gets his man next ball. The short ball tactics work perfectly as Smith holes out in the deep with Jadeja and Sudharsan completing a superb relay catch. Jadeja, standing on the edge of the boundary at deep square leg, went over the ropes while completing the catch before he showed great presence of mind to flick the ball in to his partner Sudharsan.

Smith walks back for a brisk 40 from 52 balls as India strike with a key wicket just before the second new ball is due.

Prasidh continues the bouncer tactics to new batter Chris Woakes. He fends the short ball on his body just short of the fielder at leg slip before taking a single to get off the mark.
