Washington Sundar continues, and Jamie Smith goes big - launching a clean six over mid-on to begin the over in style. He chops the next ball into the off side for no run, followed by another dot. Then comes a fierce boundary, and Smith follows it up with a flat six over long-on - sheer power and intent. He finishes the over with a single.

A big over for England - 17 runs off it. After 49 overs, they move to 191 for 6.

Akash Deep continues. Smith drives towards cover but can't pierce the gap. He gets a single off the next ball. Woakes misses one outside off, then edges the next - it flies just wide of third slip's fingertips, Reddy giving it a valiant dive, but it races away for four. Two dot balls end the over. Five runs from it - after 50 overs, England are 196 for 6.

Prasidh Krishna returns to the attack. Smith jabs one down to cover - a sharp stop by Karun Nair at short cover point. Smith then slaps one to the deep point sweeper for a single. Two dot balls follow to end the over. Just one run off it - England are 197 for 6 after 51 overs.

Brydon Carse is the new batter. He pushes one to the left of cover but cant beat the infield. Next ball, he tucks it behind square - not off the bat, and it's signalled a leg bye. Then drama! Jamie Smith is given out LBW, but the finger goes up only after a pause. Smith reviews instantly. He was beaten for pace trying to pull, but the ball is clearly clearing the stumps - the decision is overturned. Smith capitalises soon after, slamming a boundary. A dot ball ends the over. Five runs and a wicket from it - after 53 overs, England are 204 for 7.
