GT 153-3 (16.4 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Gujarat Titans want to finish it off quickly and improve their net run rate. This time Gill goes after leggie Ansari, sweeping him through square leg for a four.

The next ball is flighted wide as Gill plays a cracking inside out shot over the covers for another boundary before taking one.

Rutherford picks a single off the last ball to retain strike as 11 come from the over.

Cummins back into the attack. Rutherford shows his brute power as he heaves Cummins high over midwicket for a six. The next ball is a slower ball as the left-hander waits for it, opening the face of the bat at the last second to steer it fine for a four.

He takes a single on the leg side to level scores and Gill clips the next off his pads for one to take GT to victory.

Gujarat Titans cruise to an emphatic seven-wicket victory with 20 balls to spare.

Gill led the way with the bat for Titans with a composed knock of 61 from 43 balls, which included nine fours.

Rutherford finished off the match in quick fashion, stroking a quickfire 35 from 16 balls, with six fours and a six.

Left-arm spinner Abhishek Sharma comes into the attack. The first ball is a wide half-volley as Rutherford lofts it inside out over the covers for a boundary.

The next ball is short and this time the left-hander hammers it through the covers for the same result.

Rutherford slog sweeps the third ball over midwicket to complete a hat-trick of fours followed by a wide.

Abhishek bowls another poor delivery, short and wide, as Rutherford punches it past point for the fourth four of the over and gets one off the last ball, to get 18 from the over.

Sundar out for 49 but GT in control

GT 112-3 (14 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Leggie Ansari is back into the attack. Sundar takes a single to long-off to bring up GT's 100, in the 13th over.

Gill cuts the next ball past point, placing the ball perfectly in the gap for a four, to complete his fifty from 36 balls.

Singles off the last two balls make it eight runs from Ansari's third over as Titans continue to cruise towards the target.

Shami comes back into the attack and he makes the breakthrough with the key wicket of Sundar.

The left-hander cuts the short ball uppishly as Aniket rushes in from deep point and dives forward to take the catch inches from the gorund.

But the umpires want to check the catch as they refer it to the TV umpire.

The TV umpire rules that his fingers are underneath the ball but Sundar believes that the evidence is not that conclusive.

Should the benefit of doubt have gone to the batter? A controversial call to spice up an otherwise drab contest.

He walks back disappointed after a match-turning knock of 49 from 29 balls, with five fours and two sixes, narrowly missing out on a fifty on debut for his new team.

He put on 90 from 56 balls to put Titans firmly in control in the run chase.

GT make a change as Sherfane Rutherford comes in as the Impact Player, replacing Ishant in the playing XI.

Left-hander Rutherford walks in at No 5.  He top edges the pull shot as the ball flies over the wicketkeeper for a four to get off the mark and keeps strike with one from the last ball.

GT 98-2 (12 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Cummins, who took 1/6 in two overs, is back into the attack. Gill guides the first ball past the fielder at point for two runs and then takes one through the off-side.

Sundar has a close call as he takes a suicidal single after hitting the ball straight to Unadkat at mid-off, who does well to get to the ball and throws the ball quickly but misses the direct hit.

Gill getting into his groove. He plays a cracking drive as Cummins makes the mistake of giving him width, placing it in the gap perfectly between covers and mid-off for a four.

Unadkat is back into the attack. Singles from the first four balls before Sundar walks across his stumps to pull the short ball over the leg side for a four.

Leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari comes into the attack, to bowl the seventh over. Sundar cuts the first ball to sweeper cover for a single and Gill hits the next past short thirdman for a four.

Gill takes one to the fielder at deep extra cover followed by singles off the last two balls, to get eight runs from the over.

Right-arm off-spin/left-arm orthodox Kamindu Mendis comes into the attack from the other end.

The second ball is a half-tracker as Gill comfortably pulls it behind square on the leg side for a boundary and clips the next wide of long-on for two runs.

He takes a single before Sundar lofts the full delivery inside out over the off-side for a four and takes a single, to get 12 from the over.

Ansari continues as Sundar takes one from the first ball and Gill does the same two balls later.

Sundar clips the spinner with soft hands through square leg for a couple of runs and chops the fifth ball on the off-side for one and Gill clips the last ball off his pads for another run.

At the halfway mark, Gujarat Titans are 82/2 in 10 overs, needing 71 from 10 overs for victory.

Sundar's attack rallies Gujarat

GT 48-2 (6 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Sundar slaps Shami past point for a single and Gill picks one on the leg side followed by another run to the former.

Gill releases the pressure as he flicks Shami over the midwicket region for a boundary.

Shami again drifts on the pads as Gill clips off his pads through square leg for back to back fours.

Simarjeet Singh comes into the attack in place of Cummins, who bowled a good first spell of 1/6 in two overs.

Simarjeet starts with a short ball which Sundar pulls over midwicket for a boundary. The next ball is again short as Sundar repeats the shot for back to back fours -- the fourth in succession for Titans as they bounce back after a few early wickets.

Sundar on fire! He shuffles across before playing the pick up shot off the short ball down the leg side, helping it over the fine leg fence for a six.

Simarjeet keeps bowling short but this time the line is outside the off-stump as Sundar defends it back to the bowler.

The last ball is short but down the leg side as Sundar pulls it for another six over square leg.

Sundar has turned the GT innings on its head, smashing 23 from nine balls.

GT have seized the momentum with 28 coming from the last eight deliveries, to recover to 48/2 in six overs in the Powerplay.

Cummins strikes; Buttler out for duck

GT 17-2 (4 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Cummins strike a major blow in the next over. He gets rid of the dangerous Jos Buttler who is caught behind off an inside edge for a three-ball duck.

The scrambled seam delivery jagged in sharply to cut Buttler into half, as he looked to push it on the off-side, getting the inside edge which was easily caught by wicketkeeper Klaasen.

GT in a bit of problem on 16/2 in the fourth over.

Washington Sundar walks in at No 4 in his debut match for Titans. He gets off the mark with a single on the off-side.
21:48

Shami strikes; Sudharsan out for 5

GT 15-1 (3 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Shami continues as Gill and Sudharsan pick a single each off the first two balls before the GT captain drives the pacer on the up through the gap at covers for the first boundary of the innings.

He takes a single before Shami strikes with the crucial wicket of the in-form Sudharsan, who is caught at square leg for 5.

A rare failure for Sudharsan in IPL 2025 as he failed to get the pull shot in the gap with Aniket moving quickly to his left to pouch the catch.

Jos Buttler at No 3 inside edges the last ball on to the leg side.
21:40

Gujarat Titans off to a watchful start

GT 8-0 (2 ovs) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Captain Pat Cummins from the other end. Sudharsan blocks the first ball before taking a single off the next and Gill mistimes the drive to get one to mid-on.

Siraj takes 4 to restrict SRH to 152

GT 4-0 (1 ov) vs SRH 152-8 | Scorecard

Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill are the two openers for Gujarat Titans, whose primary aim will be to avoid giving away wickets in the Powerplay.

Mohammed Shami starts off with the ball for SRH. Sudharsan flicks the first ball off his pads for a single to get off the mark as the fielder at square leg is unable to stop the ball cleanly.

A watchful Gill keeps out the next two balls before taking a single off his pads to get off the mark.

Shami bowls a wide down the leg side to Sudharsan before the left-hander cuts the next ball but a superb stop from the point fielder saves the boundary.

A swinging yorker from Shami which swings in sharply but Sudharsan does well to get his bat down in time to clip it past square leg for one.

Siraj takes 4 to restrict SRH to 152

SRH 152-8 (20 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

The experienced Ishant to bowl the final over. He starts with a wide full toss which Cummins drills through the covers for a boundary.

The next is a slower bouncer and this time Cummins adjusts well to pull it high over midwicket for a six.

A slower bouncer which seems to have gone high as Cummins offers no shot expecting a wide but the umpires are unmoved and SRH doesn't have a review either.

Cummins takes a single next ball to bring Mohammed Shami on strike for the last two balls.

Shami blasts the slower ball, pitched wide, through the covers for a boundary to bring up SRH's 150.

He hits the last ball to long-off as Cummins pushes him for the second run.

SRH get 17 from the final over -- the best of their innings -- to finish on 152/8 in their 20 overs.

Cummins played a vital cameo of 22 from nine balls, with three sixes and a four, while Shami made six.

Ishant struggled to contain the flow of runs, giving away 53 runs from four overs.
21:11

Siraj takes 4 to leave SRH in a mess

image

SRH 135-8 (19 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Siraj to bowl the penultimate over. Cummins takes one down to long-on and Aniket flicks the next through the gap at midwicket for two runs before he is beaten by the slower bouncer.

Aniket is given out leg before wicket off the next ball as he gets his front foot out of the way, looking to smash it through the leg side.

The full delivery swings in sharply and strikes him on the back pad.

Aniket takes the review but there is no chance as the ball has struck in line and is going on to hit the stumps.

Siraj bags his third wicket as Aniket makes his way back for 18.

Simarjeet Singh is brought in as the Impact Sub. He is beaten first ball by a wide yorker before he is cleaned up next ball.

Another full delivery on the stumps as Simarjeet is beaten all ends up to be bowled for a duck.

Two wickets in the over for Siraj, who finishes with incredible figures of 4/17 in four overs.
21:02

Sai Kishore's double strike rocks SRH

SRH 132-6 (18 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Ishant, who went for 24 runs in two overs, is back into the attack. He continues to leak runs as Pat Cummins plays a nicely-timed shot, slapping a wide ball past point for a four off the first ball he faces.

The next ball is again wide as Cummins cuts it for a single and Aniket takes one to long-on.

Ishant tries the slower wide bouncer but Cummins picks it early as he hammers it over mid-off for a four and takes one off the last ball, to get 12 from the over.
20:57

Sai Kishore's double strike rocks SRH

SRH 120-6 (17 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Prasidh continues as Aniket throws his bat at a wide ball, smashing it through the covers for a boundary -- only the 15th boundary in the 17th over for SRH. including 14 fours and a six.

He clips the next ball off his pads for two runs to deep square leg. The right-hander then gets a thick outside edge looking to run the ball to thirdman for another boundary.

Prasidh continues to chip away at the wickets. Mendis fails to get hold of the pull shot and holes out a simple catch to Sai Sudharsan at deep square leg to fall for one.

Sai Kishore's double strike rocks SRH

image

SRH 108-5 (16 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Prasidh back into the attack. Aniket Verma picks a single on the off-side before Reddy clips the next in the gap on the leg side for two runs.

Two dot balls before Reddy mistimes the pull shot for a single and Aniket is struck on the pads as he misses the clip.

Just four runs from Prasidh's third over as he continues to impress with the ball.

Sai Kishore deals SRH another big blow. The well-set Reddy, who made a sedate 31 from 34 balls, slog sweeps the spinner straight to Rashid at deep midwicket.

This has been a real struggle for the SRH batting line-up as they slip to 105/5 in 15.1 overs.

The pitch hasn't been easy for the batters, boundaries have been difficult to get with runs coming mainly in ones and twos.

Kamindu Mendis survives a confident shout for leg before wicket off the first ball he faces. The left-hander missed the clip and was struck in front but Titans decide against the review as the impact looked outside the line.

Sai Kishore bowls a beauty -- the wrong one, which is much slower and grips and turns sharply to beat Mendis on the outside edge.

Another excellent over to end his spell as Sai Kishore finishes with splendid figures of 2/24 in four overs.
20:41

Sai Kishore dismisses Klaasen; SRH 4 down

SRH 101-4 (14 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Klaasen finally breaks free. He lofts the flighted delivery from Rashid straight back over his head for his first boundary, from the 12th ball faced.

Singles off the next two balls before Klaasen swats the spinner wide of long-on for a six.

Two dot balls to end the over as Rashid concedes 12 in his final over, to finish with 31 runs from four overs.

Slightly from Sai Kishore as Reddy slaps it towards the cover where the fielder fails to stop it on the bounce to concede a boundary, as SRH finally get going.

Klaasen looking in ominous touch. He hammers a full delivery straight back over the bowler's head for a four through long-on.

He hits the next square on the off-side for two runs to bring up SRH's 100, in 13.4 overs.

However, the bowler has the last laugh. Two balls later, Sai Kishore strikes with the key wicket of Klaasen, who is bowled for 27 from 19 balls.

Klaasen went back to pull the short ball but Sai Kishore beat him for pace with the arm ball which skidded straight on and pegged back of the off-stump.

That will be a big blow for SRH's hopes of scoring quick runs in the death overs.

Aniket Verma gets off the mark with a single from the last ball.
20:33

SRH struggle after early wickets

SRH 77-3 (12 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Reddy breaks the shackles as he reverse sweeps Rashid for a boundary fine on the off-side.

This is the first boundary for SRH after a long gap of 37 balls.

Two balls later, he pulls a rare short ball from the mast spinner for a boundary in the gap at midwicket.

Rashid gets his line right as he bowls full, forcing Reddy to defend the next two balls and he gets a single off the last ball.

Sai Kishore has been quite impressive in IPL 2025 so far. With Rashid struggling, the left-armer has led the spin attack for Titans.

He bowls another tidy over, conceding just four singles in his second over.

Just 28 runs from the last five overs as SRH adopt a cautious approach, looking to rebuild.
20:25

Kishan out for 17; SRH 3 down

SRH 64-3 (10 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Rashid continues as Reddy picks the first ball off his pads for a single. Klaasen drives the next through the gap on the off-side wide of the fielder at long-off as Siraj fumbles to concede three runs when it should have been two.

Reddy takes one down to long-on before Klaassen collects a single before the former is beaten trying to drive the spinner.

Rashid, who has had an indifferent start to the season, will be buoyed by his tidy start with the ball.

Spin from both ends as R Sai Kishore comes into the attack, to bowl the 10th over.

Reddy and Klaasen looking to build the innings with some watchful batting in the middle overs.

The duo easily milk Kishore for six easy singles as SRH reach 64/3 in 10 overs.
20:18

Kishan out for 17; SRH 3 down

image

SRH 52-3 (8 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Leg-spinner Rashid Khan comes into the attack. He will be looking for a good performance in this match, having struggled so far in IPL 2025.

Rashid makes a tidy start as he gives away just four singles in his first over.

The pitch is not that easy for strokemaking with the ball not coming on to the bat. It is a surprise considering SRH would have preferred a flat hard wicket to suit their power-packed batters.

Prasidh leaves SRH in further strife. Kishan pulls the short ball from the pacer straight into the hands of Ishant Sharma at the fine leg fence to perish for 17.

Heinrich Klaasen gets off the mark with a single on the off-side and Reddy guides the next to thirdman for another run.

Prasidh ends the over with two successive dot balls to Klaasen. He has been excellent with figures of 1/10 in two overs.

SRH struggling on 52/3 in eight overs.

Siraj strikes again; SRH in trouble

image

SRH 45-2 (6 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Prasidh Krishna to bowl the final over of Powerplay as he replaces Ishant. Kishan picks a single off the first ball followed by a wide before Reddy takes one to get off the mark.

Kishan pushes the next past point for one as substitute fielder Glenn Phillips injures himself while attempting to throw back the ball. He looks in a lot of pain as the physio rushes out to attend to him.

He goes off the field for some treatment as Siraj comes back into the field of play.

Reddy takes a single on the leg side before Prasidh bowls a wide down the leg side as Kishan misses the pick up shot off his pads.

Interestingly, Gill takes the review for the wide as he believes that the ball had clipped Kishan's pads.

A close shave for the SRH batters off the last ball. Kishan taps it straight to Siraj at short thirdman as Reddy sets off immediately for the quick single.

However, Siraj throws the ball at the wrong end as he attempts the run out at the striker's end. Infact, had Siraj hit the stumps then Reddy would have been back in the dressing room.

A below-par Powerplay for SRH as they are struggling on 45/2 in six overs, with Kishan on 15 and Reddy on two.
19:58

Siraj strikes again; SRH in trouble

SRH 38-2 (5 ovs) vs GT | Scorecard

Ishant continues to ramp up the pressure as he starts his second over with two dots in a row to Kishan.

However, he bowls a wide half-volley trying a slower ball and Kishan accepts the gift as he lofts it inside out over the covers for a four.

The left-hander opens the face of the bat to guide the next past short thirdman for another boundary before taking a single.

Abhishek flicks the last ball uppishly as the fielder at mid-on charges in but can't get to the ball to concede another four.

A third over for Siraj in the Powerplay. The decision pays for GT as he strikes another big blow in the form of Abhishek.

Abhishek is beaten trying to pull the pacer before he defends it back to the bowler.

Siraj gets his man off the fourth ball as Abhishek goes for the lofted shot but hits it straight to the fielder at mid-on to be dismissed for 18 as his poor run with the bat in IPL 2025 continues.

Nitish Reddy watchfully keeps out the last two balls as Siraj concedes just a single in his third over.

Wonderful bowling by Siraj in the Powerplay, taking 2/14 in three overs.

The next ball is wide as Abhishek hits it uppishly over the point region for another four and then takes a single off the fifth.

Ishan Kishan clips the last ball off his pads for two runs to get off the mark.

Siraj continues as he bowls a superb second over. After striking in his first over, Siraj ramps up the pressure, bowling five dots in a row to Abhishek, who likes to get going in the Powerplay.

Abhishek manages to avoid the maiden over as he lofts the last ball over mid-off for a boundary.

Wonderful stuff from Siraj, giving away just 13 runs in his first two overs.
19:38

Siraj strikes; Head falls for 8

SRH 9-1 (1 ov) vs GT | Scorecard

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma are the two openers for SRH, while Mohammed Siraj will open the bowling for Titans.

An early wicket for Siraj as Head is dismissed for eight.

GT elect to bowl vs SRH; include Sundar

image

This is a great opportunity for the struggling SRH batting line-up to get back to form at their home ground in Hyderabad. A fiery start in the Powerplay could set the tone for SRH's power-packed batting line-up, who could be difficult to stop if they get going.

Gujarat Titans have a quality pace attack in Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Ishant Sharma, along with three capable spinners in Rashid Khan, R Sai Kishore and Washington Sundar. They will certainly make things difficult for SRH.

Interestingly, GT have just two foreign players in their playing XI in Jos Buttler and Rashid Khan. Interesting, that Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia have been preferred ahead of Glenn Phillips, who along with his big-hitting can also bowl a few overs of spin.

Travis Head, Pat Cummins, Heinrich Klaasen and Kamindu Mendis are the four overseas players for the hosts.

Check out the playing XIs of the two teams:

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Pat Cummins (captain), Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Kamindu Mendis, Heinrich Klaasen (w/k), Aniket Verma, Zeeshan Ansari, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Shami.

Impact Subs: Abhinav Manohar, Sachin Baby, Simarjeet Singh, Rahul Chahar, Wiaan Mulder.

Gujarat Titans: Shubman Gill (captain), Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler (w/k), Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Washington Sundar, Rashid Khan, R Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Ishant Sharma.

Impact Subs: Sherfane Rutherford, Glenn Phillips, Anuj Rawat, Mahipal Lomror, Arshad Khan

Gujarat win toss; elect to bowl vs SRH

Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has won the toss and elected to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad on Sunday.

'It looks like a slowish wicket. It looks like a different wicket from the previous games as it is a black soil surface,' reasons Gill.

Titans have made one change as spin all-rounder Washington Sundar makes his debut for the visitors. He comes into the playing XI for his first match of IPL 2025 in place of Arshad Khan.

Meanwhile, SRH have also made one change as Harshal Patel has been ruled out with illness and has been replaced by Jaydev Unadkat.

Will SRH's batters rediscover their form?

Mohammed Siraj with Heinrich Klaasen
Mohammed Siraj with Heinrich Klaasen

Sunrisers Hyderabad's batters have found the going tough in IPL 2025 so far. Their ultra-aggressive approach has failed to produce results, with their key batters struggling for runs.

Opener Abhishek Sharma has managed just 33 runs from 4 games, scoring just 6, 1 and 2 in his last three games.

Ishan Kishan, who scored a century (106 not out) on his SRH debut has since scored 0, 2 and 2 in the last three matches.

Even Travis Head hasn't lived up to expectations in the last two games with scores of 22 and 4.

Heinrich Klaasen is yet to come up with a match-winning knock, despite making starts with 125 runs from four games.

Nitish Reddy has also struggled to make an impact with 81 runs from four games.

Youngster Aniket Verma has been the standout performer with a superb knock of 74 against Delhi Capitals, while scoring 36 against LSG.

For Gujarat Titans, Sai Sudharsan has led the way with 186 runs from three games, including two fifties, while Jos Buttler has smashed 166 runs with two half-centuries at a strike rate of 172.

Captain Shubman Gill is yet to hit his strides with 85 runs from three matches.

Big Boost for MI: Bumrah available for RCB match

Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah

In a big boost for Mumbai Indians, fit-again Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled fit to play and will be available for the clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Monday.

Mumbai Indians' head coach Mahela Jayawardene confirmed on the eve of their IPL clash against RCB that Bumrah is set for a comeback.

Yeah, he is available. He is training today, so he should be available tomorrow, Jayawardene said on Sunday.

Rohit Sharma, who had missed the last game against Lucknow Super Giants due to a blow to his knee, batted in the nets at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday and could be fit for the RCB clash as well.

Ro (Rohit) looks good. He is going to bat today. It was just an unfortunate impact on his leg while batting so, it was not comfortable. We were travelling yesterday. He will have a hit today and then we will do an assessment on that, Jayawardene said.

What Dhoni said on his IPL retirement

image

Chennai Super Kings talisman Mahendra Singh Dhoni addressed the retirement rumours in a latest podcast after speculation of his retirement from IPL intensified, when his parents Pan Singh and Devaki Devi were seen at Chepauk for CSK's match against Delhi Capitals on Saturday.

'I am still playing IPL, I kept it very simple -- one year at a time -- I am 43, by the time I finish this season, I will be 44 in July -- so I have 10 months to decide whether I want to play one more year and it's not me deciding, it's the body, whether you can or not,' Dhoni told Raj Shamani in a podcast.

About his future, Dhoni had stated at an event ahead of IPL 2025: 'I've retired since 2019, so it will be quite some time. What I've been doing in the meantime is just wanting to enjoy cricket for the last, whatever few years I will be able to play.'

Struggling SRH seek turnaround vs GT

SRH's openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head
SRH's openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head

Welcome to the coverage of the IPL 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will certainly look to introspect on their no-holds-barred attacking philosophy in a bid to stem the rot caused by a hat-trick of defeats as they face a buoyant Gujarat Titans.

Having started the tournament with a bang, scoring 286 in the opening game, SRH's template of attack at all costs has boomeranged in the next three games with team totals of 190, 163, and 120 to show for their efforts.

Last year's runners-up SRH, who are unable to find the right balance between aggression and ultra-aggression, are currently bottom of the standings in 10th position.

To their relief, SRH would be back in Hyderabad at the Uppal Stadium, which is known for run-feasts. Even in the match against Lucknow Super Giants, which SRH lost, the hosts had scored 190 -- a total that was more a reflection of their batters' profligacy than the opposition's bowling.

The bowling also seems to be a concern as none of the bowlers save young leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari (4 wickets at an economy rate of 9.75) has looked menacing. Skipper Cummins has been hammered at an economy rate of 12.30 runs per over, while countrymate Adam Zampa has gone for 11.75 per over. Veteran Mohammed Shami has also been expensive, conceding 10 runs per over.

Such has been SRH's plight, none of their premier bowlers have bowled full quota of four overs in all four games.

On the other hand, Titans are slowly gaining momentum and would be raring to go after a smashing win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Chinnaswamy with batting mainstay Jos Buttler hitting the straps.

With B Sai Sudharsan providing solidity at the top alongside skipper Shubman Gill and Buttler coming in at one drop, Titans' batting arsenal bears a solid look.

Sherfane Rutherford and Rahul Tewatia are two big-hitting finishers in the middle-order with Shahrukh Khan looking like the only weak link.

However, the Titans will be hamstrung by the absence of their pace bowling spearhead Kagiso Rabada, who has gone back home due to personal reasons.

The onus will be on Mohammed Siraj, who has been in fantastic rhythm and lanky Prasidh Krishna to create pressure with the new ball.

The mystery element around Rashid Khan has waned a bit and more and more batters are using the depth of the crease and rocking onto the backfoot to play him as a medium pacer who bowls off-cutters. But R Sai Kishore's lion-hearted efforts mean that Titans have a better all-round bowling attack than SRH.
