Play has been called off on Day 2 without a ball being bowled because of a wet outfield due to rain.

Only 35 overs have been bowled so far in the first two days due to the wet weather.

The ground was under covers since morning but a steady drizzle for a couple of hours in the morning along with overcast skies meant that there was not enough time to get the ground ready in time.

The players had already left the ground for the team hotel after spending a couple of hours in the dressing room.

It is still gloomy overhead and chances of play getting underway looks highly impossible.
