India 88-3 (23 ovs) vs B'desh | Scorecard

India have made a good recovery after a horror start as they go into the lunch break on 88/3 in 23 overs.

Jaiswal batted hard in the first hour before he played a few shots to score 37 from 62 balls, while Pant playing his first Test in nearly two years stroked 33 from 44 balls.

The left-handed duo put on 54 runs from 83 balls to rescue India after Hasan Mahmud's triple strike in the first hour.

Mahmud made most of the early help from the conditions, taking 3/14 in seven overs to leave India reeling on 34/3.

Captain Rohit Sharma was the first to be dismissed, caught in the slips for six and Shubman Gill was caught down the leg side for a duck.

Virat Kohli didn't last long either as he played a loose shot to be caught behind for six.

With the pitch easing out, India would be looking to cash and score some runs in the second session.
