Harshal Patel sold to SRH for Rs 8 cr

Allrounder Harshal Patel starts with a base price of Rs 2 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) make the first move, and Gujarat Titans (GT) quickly join the bidding, knowing Patels value in auctions. The bid rises steadily, with GT pushing it to Rs 3 crore.

SRH respond with Rs 6.25 crore, and GT raise it to Rs 6.50 crore. SRH counter with Rs 6.75 crore, and after a brief pause, Gujarat Titans back out. At Rs 6.75 crore, Harshal Patel is sold to SRH.

Will Punjab Kings (PBKS) exercise their Right to Match (RTM)? After some deliberation, they decide not to and let it go. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) raise the bid to Rs 8 crore, but PBKS choose not to contest.

With no further bids from PBKS, Harshal Patel is sold to SRH for Rs 8 crore.
