Chahal sold to PBKS for 18 Cr

Starting at a base price of Rs 2 crore, Yuzvendra Chahal quickly attracts attention, with Gujarat Titans opening the bidding. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are soon in the mix, and a fierce back-and-forth ensues, pushing the bid up to Rs 5.75 crore.

Gujarat Titans hold the lead at Rs 5.75 crore, but Punjab Kings enter the race with a bid of Rs 6 crore. However, Gujarat Titans aren't backing down. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) make their move, raising the bid to Rs 7.25 crore, causing the Titans to pull out.

The battle intensifies as Punjab Kings keep the bid alive, and soon, the price has crossed Rs 10 crore. Chahal, a key figure in Rajasthan Royals' IPL 2024 success, continues to be a highly sought-after player in this thrilling bidding war. And it has gone up to Rs 14 crore with Punjab.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ask for a moment to reassess, but when they return, they enter the bidding at Rs 14.25 crore. Punjab Kings, however, are still in the race and continue pushing.

RCB decide to back out, but just as it looks like Punjab might have it, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) swoop in with a bid of Rs 14.75 crore. The battle intensifies as both SRH and Punjab keep raising the stakes.

Now, the bid has crossed Rs 17 crore, and Punjab Kings hold the lead for Yuzvendra Chahal at the moment, as the competition remains fierce. Sold to PBKS for 18 Cr!
