Abdul Samad, with a base price of Rs 30 lakh, enters the auction. RCB and LSG kick off a fierce bidding war, with the price quickly climbing to Rs 1.5 crore. RCB step back, but PBKS enter the fray at Rs 1.6 crore.

PBKS raise the stakes to Rs 2 crore, but LSG remain determined, pushing the bid to Rs 3 crore. Both teams are locked in an intense battle.

Samad, known for his hard-hitting abilities in the lower order and effective spin bowling, was part of the SRH setup last season.

The bids escalate, with LSG taking it to Rs 4.20 crore. PBKS deliberate but eventually decide to pull out. Though SRH have the RTM option, they choose not to use it.
