Eng 2nd inns: 275-8 (65 ovs); Target: 399 | Scorecard
Ashwin still looking for his 500th Test wicket. Foakes drives the first ball to long-on for a single and Hartley sweeps the next, which is down the leg side, fine for a boundary.
He drives the next ball straight to Ashwin, who fails to gather it and ends up conceding a single and Foakes takes one off the next.
Hartley attempts the reverse sweep but the ball goes off the arm and Rohit takes a diving catch behind the wicketkeeper.
The umpire has ruled it out and Hartley quickly takes the review.
The ball has missed the gloves and gone off the arm, while the leg before wicket is also checked but even that goes in the batter's favour.
Interestingly, the leg before wicket stays with the umpire's call. But since the umpire has given it out caught behind and not leg before the review has gone England's way.
The wait continues for Ashwin's 500.
Change in the bowling as Mukesh Kumar comes into the attack. Hartley takes a single from the first ball to raise the 50-run stand from 63 balls for the eighth wicket.
Mukesh getting the ball to reverse into Foakes, targetting the stumps trying to get the right-hander leg before or hoping one hits the crack and stays low.
The full delivery stays low but a watchful Foakes keeps it out and he takes one off the last ball to retain strike.
With Mukesh getting some reverse, Bumrah is back from the other end. Foakes slashes his bat at a wide delivery only to get the edge which flies past the slips for a four.
Bumrah gets his man a few balls later. Foakes miscues the slower ball back to the bowler to be caught behind for 36.
Superb bowling from Bumrah as he completely foxes Foakes with the slower ball and does well to hold on to the catch on his follow through.
India just two wickets away from a series-levelling victory!
