Cummins doing well to keep the scoreboard moving along. He steers the back of length delivery from Akash Deep past the gully fielder for a couple of runs and clips the next to fine leg for one, while the pacer has overstepped for another extra run.

Smith gets a leg bye after missing the clip and Cummins crashes the overpitched delivery past mid-off for a four and takes one off the last ball to retain strike.

The partnership is now 43 from 62 balls with Cummins leading the charge with 25 from 28 balls.

31 runs have come from the first six overs of the day as Australia have firmly seized the momentum in the first 30 minutes.

Bumrah continues as Cummins is beaten as he pokes outside the off-stump before he ducks under a quick bouncer. The next ball is again short and this time Cummins fends it on the leg side followed by a full delivery which swings away to beat the outside edge.
