CSK hold the edge over Punjab

image
Chennai Super Kings head into the IPL match against Punjab Kings as favourites, as spin bowlers are expected to play a huge role in the home side's scheme of things, in Chennai, on Sunday.

Both teams head into the game on the back of defeats in their previous matches. While CSK fell short by 32 runs against Rajasthan Royals, PBKS lost to Lucknow Super Giants by 56.CSK, however, will be happy to return to home comfort, where spin is king and their shrewd captain M S Dhoni will look to strangulate the PBKS batters.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have struggled for consistency and the return of skipper Shikhar Dhawan did not help the team's cause on Friday.

Up against a daunting target, the PBKS batters scored at a decent pace and did their best to reach 200 but couldn't take the side over the line. They will have their task cut out against the spin-heavy CSK.
