India 116-4 (25 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Mitchell continues as Pant has a big swing first ball but is beaten before he drives the next to the fielder in the covers.

Pant perishes next ball as miscues the pull shot and is caught at deep square leg.

Another failure in white ball cricket for Pant as he walks back after scoring 10 from 16 balls.

That was a poor shot under the circumstances as he looked keen to dominate part-timer Mitchell and ended up paying the price.

Suryakumar Yadav gets off the mark with a single and Iyer clips the next for another run.

Milne looks to bowl short to Iyer but also makes the mistake of giving width as the India No 3 slashes it over point for a four.

The next ball is down the leg side and is ruled a wide before Iyer pulls the next ball, again short, for a four through midwicket.

He misses the flick but gets a leg bye and Suryakumar is able to keep out the last three balls.

Mitchell, who picked up the wicket of Pant, continues with the ball. He bowls another tidy over, conceding just four singles as India go past the 100-run mark in the 23rd over.

Mitchell is doing a more than useful job with the ball, with figures of 1/8 in three overs.

Ferguson comes back for a fresh spell as he replaces Milne. Suryakumar gets a big inside edge first ball as he tries to drive and the ball goes through square leg for three runs.

Short and wide from Ferguson as Iyer blasts it past point for a four, giving the fielder no chance and then drives the fifth ball through the covers for a couple as he takes his score into the 40s.

Milne back for a new spell and he adds to his wickets tally. This time he strikes with the big wicket of Suryakumar who pushes away from his body but gets the edge and Southee takes a good low catch at slip.

A big blow for the visitors as Suryakumar walks back for 6 with India in trouble on 110/4 in the 25th over.

Suryakumar will ponder hard and long over his two dismissals in the ODI series, both times edging it to the slip region, playing way away from his body looking to force the pace early on instead of taking his time to get set.

Deepak Hooda shuffles across and taps Milne on the leg side for a quick single to get off the mark.

Iyer looks in superb touch as he guides the short wide delivery from Milne behind point for a four. He tries to cut the last ball but gets a thick outside edge for a single to thirdman.
