India 219-all out (47.3 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Daryl Mitchell comes back into the attack. Sundar hits the first ball for a single through the off-side before Arshdeep plays all over a full delivery and is given out leg before wicket.

He takes the review but to no avail, as the ball has struck in line and is going on to hit the middle stump.

Arshdeep walks back for nine as India lose their ninth wicket.

New batter Umran Malik pokes and is beaten as he plays away from his body and he defends the next on the off-side.

He swings across the line and is beaten and he keeps out the last ball on the off-side.

Southee to bowl the 49th over. Sundar pulls the first ball over midwicket for a six to bring up his half-century from 62 balls.

A vital half-century under the circumstances as his knock was instrumental in taking India past the 200-run mark.

He has another swing two balls later but gets the edge and is caught behind.

Sundar takes the review but there is a clear spike on the UltraEdge as the decision stands.

Sundar walks back after a good innings of 51 from 64 balls as India are bowled out for 219 in 47.3 overs.

Except for Sundar and Iyer's 49 there was nothing much to write about India's batting in the must-win third match.

Daryl Mitchell was the big surprise with the ball for the Kiwis as he took 3/25 and Adam Milne ripped through the top order to finish with 3/57, while Southee bagged two wickets.
