SL 192-3 (65 ovs) vs India 536-7d | Scorecard

A good morning session for Sri Lanka as their senior duo -- Mathews and Chandimal -- hold forte to frustrate the Indians.

Sri Lanka battled hard to reach 192 for three at the lunch break on Day 3, still trailing India by 344 runs.

Mathews did have a few close shaves but managed to play out the session to take his score to 90, while Chandimal battled hard for 52, his third half-century in the series.

The duo were involved in an unbroken stand of 117 from 315 balls for the fourth wicket to keep India at bay.

Shami bowled a fiery spell in the first session and so did Ishant but Sri Lanka were able to somehow hang in there.
