1st ODI Live! Bristol match abandoned following steady drizzle

The first ODI between India and England at Bristol has been abandoned. 

The second ODI will be played in Cardiff on Wednesday. 

Till then, goodbye.

It's still raining in Bristol. 

And the forecast says it will be more of the same the whole day.

At the moment there seems no possibility of the game being played at all. But the match is yet to be called off. Let's wait for a formal announcement to be made.

At the moment it seems no play will be possible for the day. We will keep you posted.

Am afraid the news is not very good. The start has been delayed due to constant rain.

The captains still await the toss as it is still drizzling and the umpires will take a call once the rain stops.

In fact the rain has just got heavier and the drainage at the ground isn't exactly the best.
