Sahara Pune Warriors made a surprise pick by purchasing West Indies pacer Jerome Taylor for his base price of $100,000.

Pacer Pankaj Singh was bought by Rajasthan Royals for $95,000 after starting with a base price of $50,000. But former India pacer VRV Singh, who started with $100,000, was not taken by anyone.

Royal Challengers Bangalore also added another all-rounder to their squad with the purchase of South African Johan van der Wath for $50,000.

The fast bowlers who did not attract any bids in the round were: South Africans Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Andre Nel and Makhya Ntini, Sri Lanka's Chanaka Welegedara, England pacers Ryan Sidebottom and Chris Tremlett, Ian Butler and Andy McKay of New Zealand, Fidel Edwards and Ravi Rampaul of West Indies.
