First player sold after lunch

Australia's fast bowler James Pattinson was the first player to be sold after the lunch break when he was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for $100,000, his base price.

The fast bowlers, who went unsold in that round were: Sri Lanka's Dammika Prasad, Dilhara Lokuhettige and Nuwan Zoysa, Daryl Tuffey of New Zealand, Stuart Clark and Mitchell Starc of Australia, England's Sajid Mahmood, Rory Kleinveldt of South Africa, Ian O'Brien of New Zealand.
