- Scorecard: NZ vs India, 5th ODI

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat in the fifth and final One-Day International against New Zealand which was reduced to a 43-overs-a-side affair due to rain in Auckland on Saturday.

India went into the match without any change to the squad that crushed New Zealand in the previous match at Hamilton, while the hosts brought in veteran Scott Styris at the cost of Ewen Thompson.

Earlier, steady drizzle delayed the start of the match, prompting the match officials to truncate it.

The tie has been rendered inconsequential following India's unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

Squads:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar, Yusuf Pathan, Suresh Raina,  Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma.

New Zealand: Daniel Vettori (captain), Brendon McCullum, Grant Elliott, Martin Guptill, Peter McGlashan, Kyle Mills, Iain O'Brien, Jacob Oram, Jesse Ryder, Scott Styris and Ross Taylor.
