NZ elect to bat in fourth ODI

- Scorecard: New Zealand vs India, 4th ODI

New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth One-Day International in Hamilton on Wednesday.

The Indian team effected two changes in the squad, bringing in Rohit Sharma for the injured Sachin Tendulkar and replacing Munaf Patel with a fit-again Ishant Sharma.

For the hosts, regular captain Vettori, who missed the previous match to be with his pregnant wife, Ian O'Brien and debutant Ewen Thompson join the Kiwi ranks.

India lead the five-match series 2-0.

Squads:

India: Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Praveen Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma.

New Zealand: Jesse Ryder, Brendon McCullum, Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Grant Elliott, Jacob Oram, Peter McGlashan, Daniel Vettori (captain), Kyle Mills, Ewen Thompson and Iain O'Brien.
