A series win for India in the four Test series against Australia would be a big step in becoming the best team in the world, Indian conditioning coach Paddy Upton said in Bangalore on Monday.

"A series win would be a fantastic step towards becoming the best team in the world", he said in a chat with reporters.
He, however, said that no additional pressure has been put on players to achieve the aim.
"We are trying not to put too much pressure on the team to win from within. But this series win will be a great achievement.
"We obviously want to win all the series that we play. It would be a big step to win the series".
He added that one of the foundations of mental toughness is excellent preparation.
"Its like walking into an exam. If you've studied the whole book, you feel confident. If you've cut corners, theres no confidence. We've made sure our preparations have been really good. So, when the players go out on the field, there's not going to be any surprises".
He said the focus was on the game, on the team's strengths and what they were good at doing.
"We've got a few strategies and tactics for individual players (Australians) and the team (Australia) as well. But essentially the focus is on team India and the individuals in the team", he said.
