The leg spinner's had figures of five for 17 in his four overs and became the second bowler in the tournament, after Chennai's Lakshmipathy Balaji, to take a hattrick when he snared D Ravi Teja (9), Pragyan Ojha (0) and RP Singh (1) of successive balls. His efforts won him the man-of-the-match award, and more importantly, helped his team win.
