The statistical highlights of the ODI tri-series' second final between India and Australia in Brisbane on Tuesday.

# With victories in both their games in the finals at Sydney and Brisbane, India registered a triangular series win in Australia for the first time.

# Australia, for the first time, have lost four finals in succession in the triangular series in Australia. In the 2006-07 season, England had defeated Australia at Melbourne and Sydney.

# Mahendra Singh Dhoni, with 21 dismissals (19 catches + 2 stumpings) and 347 runs at an average of 69.40, became the first Indian wicketkeeper to accomplish the double of 300 runs and 20 dismissals in a competition.

# Sachin Tendulkar's aggregate of 399 at an average of 44.33 in 10 ODIs is his second best in a competition in Australia. In the Benson and Hedges World Series in 1991-92, he had aggregated 401 (ave. 44.56), including four half-centuries in 10 ODIs.

# Tendulkar, with his 91 off 121 balls, has extended his record for most 90s to 17.

# Gautam Gambhir was the leading run-getter on either side with 440 runs at an average of 55.00, including two centuries and one fifty in 10 matches. The tally is second best by an Indian in a competition in Australia. In the 2003-04 VB series, VVS Laxman had made 443 (ave.63.29), including three centuries in 10 matches.

# Tendulkar has produced another first by posting three 50-plus knocks in a row in Australia - 63 against Sri Lanka at Hobart; 117 not out against Australia at Sydney and 91 against Australia at Brisbane.

# Tendulkar's outstanding knock is his third best against Australia in a final -- the top two being 134 in the Coca Cola Cup at Sharjah on April 24, 1998 and 117 not out in the Commonwealth Bank series at Sydney on  March 2, 2008.

# Praveen Kumar (4/46) produced his best bowling performance against Australia, obliterating his 2 for 49 at SCG on March 2, 2008. His career-best bowling performance is 4 for 31 against Sri Lanka at Hobart on February 26, 2008.

# Michael Clarke (3/52) recorded his best bowling performance in Australia - his third best in ODIs  - his best two performances being 5 for 35 against Sri Lanka at Dambulla on February 22, 2004 and 4 for 42 against India at Mumbai on November 1, 2003.

# Matthew Hayden recorded his 10th fifty against India - his 36th in ODIs.

# James Hopes produced his career-best batting performance in Limited-Overs Internationals. His previous highest was 43 against Sri Lanka at Sydney on January 22, 2006.

# Praveen Kumar got his first Man of the Match award against Australia - his second overall in one-dayers.

# Nathan Bracken has been adjudged the Player of the Series for the first time in his ODI career. He bagged 21 wickets at an average of 16.52 runs -- the most by any bowler in the Commonwealth Bank series.
