Statistical highlights of the fourth day's play in the second cricket Test between India and Australia at the SCG in Sydney on Saturday.

# With Australian opener Phil Jaques' wicket, Anil Kumble became the first Indian bowler to claim 100 wickets against one country - 102 (ave.27.38 ) in 16 Tests against Australia. Kapil Dev had claimed 99 wickets at 30.12 runs apiece in 29 Tests against Pakistan.

# Kumble is now the only Indian bowler to claim a century of wickets against Australia in Test.

# Harbhajan Singh has now captured Ricky Ponting's wicket eight times in Test cricket. England's Darren Gough has also dismissed Ponting eight times.

# Hayden (123) recorded his 29th century equalling the feats of Sir Donald Bradman (Australia) and South African, Jacques Kallis. The leading centurions in Test cricket are - Sachin Tendulkar (38), Sunil Gavaskar (34), Brian Lara (34), Ricky Ponting (33), Steve Waugh (32), Don Bradman (29), Matthew Hayden (29) and Jacques Kallis (29) 

# Hayden became the first ever batsman to post 20 centuries in Australia/at home.

# Hayden (1551 at an average of 64.62 in 13 Tests) became the second Australian after Allan Border (1567 at an average of 52.23 in 20 Tests) to complete 1500 runs against India.

# Jaques' Test average after 6 matches is 57.30 (573 runs), including two centuries and four fifties.

# Matthew Hayden and Michael Hussey's 160-run stand for the third wicket is a record for Australia against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground, surpassing the 97 between Justin Langer and Mark Waugh in January 2000.

# Hussey's unbeaten 87 is his ninth career fifty and first against India.

# Hussey has also completed 2000 runs in Test - 2062 at an average of 82.48 in 20 matches during his unbeaten knock of 87; only Australia's Sir Donald Bradman (15) and West Indian, George Headley (17), took less Tests than Hussey to complete 2000 runs.

# Michael Clarke was out for a duck for the first time, in his 47th innings. He is now the second Australian batsman, after Allan Davidson (51), who have played the highest number of innings before recording the first duck.
