# Zimbabwe (139/5) recorded their highest score, eclipsing their 123 for 9 against Bangladesh at Khulna on November 28, 2006.

# Australia (138/9) registered their second lowest score, next only to their 79 against England at Rose Bowl on June 13, 2005.

# Andrew Symonds (33) has recorded his third 30-plus score in succession. In his previous two innings, he had made 54 not out off 26 balls against South Africa at Brisbane on January 9, 2006 and 39 not out off 22 balls against England at Sydney on January 9, 2007.

# Matthew Hayden (4) has recorded his third failure in succession. In his previous two innings against England, he had registered 6 at Rose Bowl on June 13, 2005 and 20 at Sydney on January 9, 2007.

# Adam Gilchrist (4) is yet to score a fifty in Twenty20 Internationals. In his previous four innings, he had scores of 1 vs. New Zealand, 15 vs. England, 1 vs. South Africa and 48 vs. England.

# Chigumbsura (3/20) produced the best ever figures for Zimbabwe, bettering Utseya's 3 for 25 against Bangladesh at Khulna on November 28, 2006.

# Adam Gilchrist's 4 catches/dismissals is a new record in Twenty20 Internationals. Kamran Akmal (twice), Abraham de Villiers and Mark Boucher had three dismissals to their credit.

# Brendon Taylor (60 off 45 balls) registered the first fifty for Zimbabwe.

# Taylor got his first Man of the Match award.
