The Indian team management's patience seems to have finally run out as far as Rahul Dravid is concerned.
The ex-captain has had a poor run of form in the ongoing one-day series against Australia and hence he has been dropped from the seventh and final match in Mumbai on Wednesday, sources said.
Dravid has managed just 51 runs from the five innings that he played so far against Australia, quite easily his worst ever run.
His place in the team would be taken by Dinesh Karthik, who had an extended batting session at the nets on Tuesday.
S Sreesanth's antics and verbal clashes seemed to have taken most of the headlines and so has his erratic bowling display. He would be replaced by RP Singh, but even the left-armer has struggled in the series so far.

Sreesanth has taken 9 wickets in 4 matches with an economy rate of 6.77, while Singh has claimed 3 wickets in 3 matches with an economy rate of 6.72.
India have already lost the series to Australia 4-1 after rain washed out the first ODI in Bangalore.
