Archana, who hails from Kolkata, started out as a model, winning the Supermodel 'Get Gorgeous' contest before joining Channel [V] as a VJ.
"They (Neo Sports) first approached me when the West Indies came in January. I was still with Channel [V] and I did it freelance at that time."
"Eventually, they wanted to sign me up in May. Because I have been travelling so much I have not been able to give time to Channel [V]. So I have terminated my contract with them, and now I am on a sports-exclusive contract with Neo Sports."
