The Indian squads for the seven-match ODI series against England and the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa will be chosen in Mumbai on August 7, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Friday.
The selectors also have to name the captain for the inaugural Twenty-20 championships as Rahul Dravid, alongwith Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, has pulled out of the tournament.
Dravid, however, would captain the side that is to be picked for the seven ODIs against England from August 21 to September 8.
The 15-member squad for the Twenty-20 event, to be held from September 11-28, will have to be chosen from the list of 30 probables which has been already announced.
There's a strong possibility of swashbuckling Ranchi wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni being named to lead the team following his elevation as ODI vice-captain.
Included among the probables are India discards for the England tour - Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan.
