Sourav Ganguly [Images] stepped into the arena where he had scored a century on debut. He also started confidently, stepping down the wicket and lofting Panesar over mid- wicket for his first runs.
Ganguly continued in a positive vein despite the loss of three wickets. India's strategy was clear: go down, but with a fight.
