Delhi fought back well after a first innings collapse even as their Ranji Trophy Super League match against Himachal Pradesh ended in a draw after an action packed final day in Dharamsala on Tuesday.
Faced with a target of 217 for outright victory, Himachal Pradesh crumbled in the face of some fine bowling by pacer Ishant Sharma (4-44) and ended the day with 83 for five.
Earlier, helped by a double century by Aakash Chopra (215) and a hundred by Gautam Gambhir (103), Delhi declared its second outing at 482 for six wickets, a major improvement after the first innings debacle which saw them bundled out for 75 and forced to follow on.
The hosts had scored 341 in their first innings.
