West Indies skipper Brian Lara (right) pottered around for 26 minutes during which he faced 18 balls, but any hope that the great West Indian would bring about a revival in his team's fortunes were belied when he poked at an away angled ball from McGrath and edged behind for 'keeper Adam Gilchrist to dive to left and catch him left-handed.
Bracken ended up with very impressive 3 for 22 while McGrath and Shane Watson grabbed two wickets each. Lee and Brad Hogg got one apiece.
