The Supreme Court will again hear the petition filed by Ten Sports for cable-network telecast rights of the Indo-Pakistan series on Tuesday.

The matter came up for hearing before the two-judge bench comprising of justice Ashok Bhan and justice Tarun Chatterjee on Monday morning but Solicitor General of India, G E Vahanvati, sought time from the court to get clarifications from his clients and report the court a deferred hearing till Tuesday morning 1030 IST.

The petitioners have requested for a stay on the government of India guidelines that any organisation which wants to beam sporting events in India will have to share the feed with Prasar Bharti.

In the last Indo-Pak series, Ten Sports had incurred loses worth Rs 110 crores because of the Supreme Court order to share feed with Prasar Bharti.
