The terrestrial television rights for the India-England Test and ODI cricket series was given to public broadcaster Prasar Bharati by Nimbus Communications Limited, the BCCI's global media rights holders.
Doordarshan will telecast all the matches on DD National network and Nimbus shall retain 75 per cent of all revenues towards rights fees.
The world feed (live coverage) shall be provided to DD by Nimbus Sport, the BCCI-appointed producer, said a media release issued by Nimbus, which holds all rights for cricket matches in India till March 2010.
The agreements with DD was signed on Friday evening, the release said.
Sahara One, a private free-to-air cable channel in India, bagged the satellite rights for telecasting the matches, another release said.
