Tamil Nadu secured two points after bundling out hosts Saurashtra for 386 in their first innings in the Ranji Trophy Elite division match that ended in a draw in Rajkot on Wednesday.
In reply to Tamil Nadu's mammoth 500 for 8 declared, the hosts were all out for 386, conceding a first innings lead of 114 runs.
Resuming at their overnight score of 325 for 4, Saurashtra's remaining six wickets fell for just 61 runs.
Overnight batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who spent 507 minutes at the crease managed 177 off 329 balls with 28 fours. But the other batsmen failed to give him company.
Medium pacer R Jesuraj (4-74) and Yo mahesh (4-111) proved to be the nemisis of Saurashtra.
The visitors were 110 for two in their second innings when umpires called off the match before the start of mandatory overs.
Opener S Aniruddha made 56 with 8 fours off 59 balls, while M Vijay scored 14.
R Prasanna and KSV Das remained unbeaten on 33 and 7 runs respectively.
