Should Kaif, Sehwag be dropped?

While India has already wrapped up the seven-match one-day international series against England after winning the first four matches quite convincingly, the team still has a few concerns to address.

The biggest of them, and most glaring, is the form of key batsmen Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif. Both have failed to get going and been dismissed quite cheaply in the four matches. Kaif scored just nine runs, while Sehwag has 74 runs at an average of 18.50 from those four outings.

- Drop Sehwag and Kaif, says Kapil Dev

Former captain Kapil Dev has suggested that both the players be dropped from the Indian team and made to play domestic cricket to regain their touch.

However, Indian captain Rahul Dravid and coach Greg Chappell strongly believe in the abilities of the two players and feel that they deserve a few more chances.

Do you agree with Kapil that Sehwag and Kaif should be dropped and younger players be given a chance? Or would it be unfair to dump these proven performers on basis of just a few bad performances.

    Have your say!
