Mahela Jayawardene went after the Indian bowlers during his innings of 71.

The right-hander played an agressive knock, hitting 10 boundaries during his 70-ball essay, to help lift Sri Lanka's run rate in the middle overs.

He was involved in a 151-run partnership for the third wicket with Kumara Sangakkara before being caught by Virender Sehwag off Ajit Agarkar.
