Delhi may, after all the confusion, host the last One-Day International in the ongoing India-Pakistan cricket series.
On Thursday evening doubts were raised about security arrangements at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground after the Delhi Cricket Association's Executive Committee said the conditions imposed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and security agencies were "quite onerous".
Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf is scheduled to watch the match on April 17 and security agencies are not taking any chances.
The Union Home Ministry issued a statement saying security will not be a problem for the Delhi ODI.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was hopeful of sorting out the problems in conducting the ODI in Delhi, sources said. They said the PM was keen to meet Musharraf in Delhi.
