Captain Graeme Smith led Somerset to victory over Lancashire by seven wickets with 11 balls to spare to win the Twenty20 Cup on Saturday.
Smith hit 64 not out as his side chased a target of 115 in a match reduced to 16 overs per team after the start was delayed by an hour due to heavy rain at The Oval.
James Hildreth struck the winning boundary to clinch the trophy for the west country side who had earlier beaten holders Leicestershire by four runs to reach the final.
Lancashire defeated 2003 Twenty20 winners Surrey by 22 runs to win their semi-final also played on Saturday.
