"Yes, I can confirm that PCB has given its nod to the additional one-day match to be played at Ahmedabad," Mani told rediff.com on Friday.

Mani is in New Delhi to sort out some financial matters with the Union government relating to the 2006 ICC Trophy.

When contacted, Rajiv Shukla, vice-president of the Board for Control of Cricket in India, said the BCCI is awaiting the PCB's written approval.

"We expect the approval to come by the afternoon or little later," he said.
