Tendulkar stole the thunder in Steve Waugh's farewell Test.
A feature of his innings of 241 not out was his play on the leg-side. He made it a point to almost leave everything outside the off-stump. The little genius wanted the bowlers to bowl exactly where he wanted them to.
He unleashed 33 fours during the 436-ball knock and led India to their highest total against Australia - 705.
Unfortunately for India, wet conditions robbed off most of the last day and prevented them from a well-deserved series win.
