Indian team physio John Gloster said he would be able to tell in a week's time how much Sachin Tendulkar has recovered from his elbow surgery.

"I am happy with the progress he has already made and with the way he is hitting balls in the nets," said Gloster.
Tendulkar had a batting session of around two hours at the MIG Cricket Club in Mumbai, where he played balls of different hardness -- soft, medium and the normal cricket ball.
However, Gloster said the final decision will also rest on Tendulkar.
"The decision is up to him. It depends on his confidence. If he is not confident about the way he is playing, then we will need to work on it."
Gloster said they are working on a time-frame given by Sachin's surgeon Dr Andrew Wallace. Tendulkar's left elbow was operated upon by Dr Wallace at The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth in London, in May.
"I feel we are right on track," he said.
Tendulkar, who sounded confident after the nets session, said he felt good after playing twice the number of balls as yesterday.
"If I am fit to play for India, then why wouldn't I play," he said.
Also having some useful batting practice was Ajit Agarkar, who was included in the Indian team for the one-day international tri-series in Zimbabwe.
Tendulkar's son, Arjun, also enjoyed himself at the nets with a bowling and batting session.
