Bangladesh name three uncapped players for England tour

Bangladesh have included three uncapped players in the 16-man Test squad for the tour of England, which starts next month.

Wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim, who averages 50 in first class cricket, left-handed batsman Shahriar Nafees Ahmed and pace bowler Shahadat Hossain were called up following their performances during Bangladesh A's tour to Zimbabwe in February.

Bangladesh will play two Tests against England and participate in a triangular one-day series also involving Australia.

Bangladesh squad: Habibul Bashar (captain), Khaled Mashud, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Ashraful, Javed Omar, Rajin Saleh, Nafis Iqbal, Aftab Ahmed, Shahriar Nafees Ahmed, Mohammad Rafique, Enamul Haque, Mashrafe Mortaza, Tapash Biasya, Anwar Hossain, Talha Zubair, Shahadat Hossain
