Sachin Tendulkar lent a few tricks of the trade to his skipper, Sourav Ganguly, while inaugurating the latter's restaurant -- 'Sourav's, The Food Pavilion' in Kolkata on Friday.
Cutting the ceremonial ribbon, Tendulkar, who has two restaurants in Mumbai, launched Ganguly's first foray into food business at a posh city locale.
The launch, earlier scheduled for a puja debut, had a star-studded assembly with members of the Indian team at hand. Also present were Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul Haq, with his wife and child, and Abdur Razzak.
Ganguly had a lavish multi-cuisine spread -- Mughlai, Continental, Chinese and Bengali -- laid out for the over 250 guests, comprising the city's glitterati, his friends and relatives.
The gourmet session was not without the usual rush for autographs by zealous young fans, who capitalised on the brief opportunity of being close to their heroes.
'Sourav's', Koltata's first four-storeyed multiplex restaurant, is designed by renowned Mumbai-based architect Kapil Bhalla and was completed in five months.
