Little master Sachin Tendulkar has a stiff back but there is no uncertainty over his trip to Pakistan, as the problem is a minor one.

Tendulkar had skipped a batting stint in the team's net session on the opening day of the three-day conditioning camp on Sunday. He had confined himself to a fitness routine at the indoor gymnasium in the Eden Gardens stadium before doing some physical exercises on the ground.

His discomfort showed on Monday as he put up a dismal show with the bat during a practice match, being dismissed three times in succession on miserly scores of 0, 0 and 4. When his side 'India A' came on to field in the afternoon session, he did not come in to field.

"He was asked to take it easy on Sunday and he did not come out to field in the later half of the day on Monday," team physiotherapist Andrew Leipus told PTI in Kolkata.

Leipus, however, said that the batting genius was an absolute certainty for the coming tour to Pakistan. "The problem is indeed very minor. These things are part and parcel of cricket."

Tendulkar has been undergoing physiotherapy under the guidance of the physio and has been advised to follow some exercise routines.
