"We have received [fitness] reports that Kumble and Agarkar are not fit. They will not go for the one-dayers," BCCI secretary Karunakaran Nair said on telephone from Kolkata.

The national selectors are due to meet later on Monday to pick the squad for the five-match one-day series, starting March 13. It will be followed by three Tests.

India leave next week for their first full tour of Pakistan in 14 years.

Kumble, only one of four bowlers in the world to take 300 wickets in both Tests and one-dayers, is struggling with a strain in his bowling shoulder.

Agarkar, also a key one-day bowler but with a history of breakdowns, is nursing a shin injury he suffered during the tour of Australia, which ended in February.
