Sourav Ganguly, back from an injury, played attackingly as India piled on the runs in the last session of play.

Ganguly reached his fifty off the last ball of the second day to finish on 53 off 72 balls.

At the other end, Dravid was unbeaten on 134 with India comfortably placed at 342 for 4, a lead of 118 runs in their first innings.
